Important Privacy Notice (Refer a Friend)
If you wish to make use of our "Refer a Friend" service we will collect some personal information about:
(a) you, including your name and email address; and
(b) your friend, being that person's name and the contact details that you give us
Bluefin takes its privacy obligations seriously, and accordingly makes the following disclosure to you in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwth) (as amended):
1. Your personal information and that of your friend has been collected by Bluefin Resources Pty Limited (ABN 48 106 436 837). 
2. Our privacy policy can be viewed on-line at www.bluefinresources.com.au; alternatively a copy can be provided on request.
3. You can contact us by phone on (02) 9270 2600 - as for the Privacy Officer; by mail to Level 40, Australia Square, 264-278 George Street Sydney, NSW, Attention: Privacy Officer.
4. You have a qualified right of access to personal information which we hold about you. It is qualified because there may be circumstances where we must not give access or where we are entitled to withhold it. If you require access please write to us as indicated above.
5. As regards:
(c) your personal information, we collect it from you only for the purpose of being able to advise your friend that you requested we contact you about the services we offer, and so we can contact you if we have trouble contacting your friend;
(d) personal information of your friend, we collect it from you for the purpose of contacting that friend to determine whether he or she is interested in providing us with a resumé for consideration from time to time. 
6. There are no laws that require us to collect the personal information mentioned above. 
7. We may disclose your personal information to the following types of organisations and persons:
a) Bluefin consultants who perform recruitment services on behalf of Bluefin as independent contractors rather than employees;
b) independent contractors performing services for Bluefin on its information technology. Such persons may from time to time have access to our database which may include your personal information;
c) anyone to whom we may wish to sell our business; and
d) our legal and other professional advisers, if we need to obtain advice;
8. If you do not provide the relevant personal information, we will be unable to contact you or your friend for the aforementioned purposes.
