1. An
Australian software development company was
contracted to provide a development team for
a project in New Zealand, in a technical environment
requiring extremely rare skills. Bluefin Resources
was engaged to provide staff, and realised quickly
that an international search would be necessary
to attract candidates with the appropriate skills.
Bluefin Resources implemented this campaign
and also networked through existing candidates,
and was able to place one senior specialist
and two developers. A local campaign sourced
other candidates who were subsequently trained
in the appropriate technology.
2. A major consulting
firm won a significant project and required over 120
permanent and contract staff for both their Sydney
and Melbourne offices including Technical, Solutions
and Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Developers,
Testers, Implementation Account Managers and Network
Analysts.
Bluefin Resources was engaged as one of the main
suppliers for this project, and undertook a
rapid, aggressive advertising campaign involving
a significant increase in advertising spend,
a candidate referral scheme, custom made web
banners, key word sponsoring on web sites and
creation of “hot jobs” to attract
candidates. Within one month, Bluefin Resources
had been judged one of the top performers in
terms of its resume to placement and resume
to interview ratios. In addition, Bluefin’s
candidate identification for the harder to fill
roles was considered particularly strong. |
