A major Australian bank was
struggling to recruit and retain skilled individuals
within their risk management division. Bluefin
Resources was engaged to conduct a salary benchmarking
exercise, and the resulting information was
presented at board level. As a result, salary
bandings were adjusted in accordance with what
Bluefin found to be the current market salary
levels within this area of speciality. Bluefin
Resources subsequently partnered with the organisation’s
group risk management division to successfully
recruit over 15 positions. These roles ranged
from analysts / junior BA’s through to
senior management positions and business areas
included credit, market, and operational risk
as well as compliance, and quantitative research. |
